The original concept for this area was for links to businesses located in Western Kentucky which link to this site. On remembering that the web is an International community, it was decided to include anyone wishing to exchange links establishing, in effect, an unofficial Web Ring. We have also become aware that a local business directory site already exists precluding the necessity to create one. This directory can be found here:
Recently we have discovered a web site using the "Web Ring" concept for local merchants. This site carries the concept a bit further than anything we had in mind. They are establishing local "merchant circles" across the country. If you own a business it will be worth your time to check out what they have to offer. This is an inexpensive way to give your business a web presence if you don't already have a site. If you do have a site Merchant Circle will help increase traffic to your site. Very cost effective advertising!

There is also Insider Pages. While similar to Merchant Circle, businesses can not link to each other. Also, with Merchant Circle the search is tied to your phone number while Insider Pages is more of a city search.
The mass merchant here in our small town has recently renovated. The number of shoppers you can overhear grumbling about not being able to find anything, anymore is amazing. A large number of items are no longer being carried there. Now a 50 mile round trip is required to buy these things. When found, links will be placed here that might possibly fill the gaps.

Once you have a copy of our logo saved you can use the sample HTML code below to put our link on your web site. If you copy and paste the code be sure to change the path ("foldername/filename") to match the path for your site. To avoid unwanted reactions of the graphic when it has been clicked, it is best to put all the code on one line. If for some reason you want to break the code into more than one line, say for readability, it is recommended that the line be broken in the middle of the "img" tag code. To resize the logo change the width and height parameters to match the new size.
